Dr. Salman A. Arain is an Associate Professor of Medicine at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and an interventional cardiologist with expertise in complex coronary and peripheral vascular disease. He serves as Program Director of the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship. His clinical practice focuses on advanced percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs), including chronic total occlusions (CTOs), intravascular imaging, management of cardiogenic shock, critical limb ischemia, and rheumatologic-associated vascular disease. An active investigator and dedicated educator, Dr. Arain has published in leading peer-reviewed journals, presented at national and international meetings, and is deeply committed to mentoring trainees. He is also highly engaged on social media, where he educates a global audience of physicians on contemporary CTO and PCI techniques and maintains a strong international following.
