Dr. Jozica Šikić, MD, PhD, specialist in internal medicine and cardiology, subspecialized in interventional cardiology with particular expertise in bifurcation lesions. Head of the Department of Cardiovascular Diseases and Head of the Cath Lab at Clinical Hospital “Sveti Duh”, Zagreb. Associate Professor of Cardiology at the University of Zagreb School of Medicine.

Co-founder of the LVAD implantation program in Croatia, actively involved in the development of interventional cardiology and in mentoring young cardiologists. Chair of the Working Group on Valvular Heart Disease of the Croatian Cardiac Society and organizer of an international heart valve congress.

Member of the European Bifurcation Club and the European Society of Cardiology. Reviewer for JACC: Case Reports.

Professional interests include percutaneous coronary interventions, particularly bifurcation lesions, as well as OCT and drug-coated balloon (DCB) therapy.
