Jurij Avramovic MD, MSc, QSM, is a Slovenian specialist in internal medicine, cardiology and vascular medicine, and an interventional cardiologist. He is Head of the Cardiology Department and Head of Interventional Cardiology at Hospital Izola, Slovenia, where he works as a consultant interventional cardiologist. His clinical expertise focuses on complex coronary interventions, chronic total occlusion (CTO) recanalization, and high-risk “CHIP” procedures, with advanced use of transradial access and intravascular imaging. He is also experienced in structural coronary therapies such as Coronary Flow Reducer implantation, cardiac device therapy, including pacemakers, ICD and CRT systems, and conduction system pacing. Dr. Avramovic is an international proctor for advanced interventional techniques and technologies, and is thefounder and organizer of the “Cathlab of the Future” conference in Slovenia, which is one of the biggest interventional cardiology conferences in SE Europe. He is a frequent invited faculty member and speaker at leading interventional cardiology meetings across Europe, the USA, and Asia
